Trisha Mathis

Since graduating with a print journalism degree in 2011, I have had more than 100 published stories across magazine, newspaper, and online forums. This wide range of reporting has made me an incredibly versatile writer and relatable journalist. After moving cross-country for my husband's military career in 2013, I landed a position at the United States Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs, Colo., where I was tasked with the creation of a department website and logistical support for high-profile Olympic and Paralympic events. In 2015, I opened an online business of pop-culture themed greeting cards and have continued to grow and learn in the areas of copywriting, SEO marketing, graphic design, and customer service. My cards have even been featured on Bustle.com and I have maintained a five-star rating from more than 300 customer reviews. While working to grow my business, I continue to work on freelance projects in writing, website development, and design for companies such as American Greetings, Gale Nichols Rabbinic Coaching, and Indiana University.
